Co-Curricular Activities

Pine Dale Public School believes in the ethos that every child must develop into a well rounded individual , with emphasis on not just academics but also on co-curricular activities. Our children are kept busy and engaged in various types of project work, model making,chart making, craft work during holidays to improve on their grades and skills. During vacations ( Puja and short winter breaks) the children are assigned with various tasks and home-work by the teachers, tthe students very enthusiastically carry out their assignments to the teacher's satisfaction Co-curricular activities are organized throughout the academic year.

The entire school is divided into four houses:
1. Rudolf                     (Red House)
2. Berchman               (Blue House)
3. Dionysius                (Green House)
4. Desales                   (Yellow House)

Each house is allotted with Captains from senior classes, one for the boys and one for the girls. Students of each house must wear their own color of house t-shirts given to them by the Principal. These inter-house competitions are held on every Saturdays of the month, varying from literary ( Elocution, Debate, Essay writing) Drawing, Craft- Scrap- books, Dance- Music (Singing and playing musical instruments) and outdoor- indoor sports ( Volley ball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Basketball, Badminton and Marathons etc) or engaged in the science practicals with the science teachers in the science laboratories or with the geography teacher in the geography laboratories.. Students can choose an activity of their interests, which gives them a chance to explore the world around by moving out of their daily class routine. Apart from developing the student’s creativity, these activities encourage self-confidence, trust and team spirit- that are crucial for a student as they step into the future.
